So with my newest blog I wanted to share a sweet deal that Disney is doing this summer.  They are offering people a free quick service meal if you come to a disney resort and stay during the summer a certain amount of days and purchase a certain amount of tickets.  It is not the free dining promotion but hey during the summer it is nice to get a free meal.  Free is free.  If I were going this summer I would hop on this deal for sure.

So today Disneyland has officially closed down the tower of terror for refurbishment and changing it over to a new theme.  Now in my opinion I don't like it but the new theme of Gaurdians of the Galaxy is the new thing.  Now the tower of terror in Walt Disney World is one of my favorite rides and I gope that it does not go away like the one in Disneyland.  Just one man opinion but hoping it never happens.

Today I am sharing some very exciting news from Epcot® at Walt Disney World® Resort. Two new “Frozen” experiences – the Frozen Ever After attraction and the adjacent Royal Sommerhus – will officially open their doors June 21, 2016.

Located in the Norway pavilion at Epcot, Frozen Ever After allows your Clients to set off on an adventurous boat tour through the kingdom of Arendelle. First, they’ll be transported to the “Winter in Summer” Celebration where Queen Elsa embraces her magical powers to create a beautiful “winter-in-summer” day for the entire kingdom. Next, you will pass Troll Valley on their way up to the icy North Mountain to Queen Elsa’s Ice Palace before their return trip to the Bay of Arendelle.
You can begin booking FastPass+ for Frozen Ever on Saturday, May 21, 2016.

And, over at the nearby Royal Summerhus, Anna and Elsa’s summer home, the royal sisters will be available for will for greeting opportunities.
The Norway Pavilion will open at 9 a.m., along with the Future World area of Epcot.

New character meet and greets are coming to Hollywood Studios.  It is not new news but Olaf is coming to Hollywood Studios as well as a new meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie.  Join my mailing list to find out some more information as it comes out.

Disney Parks Blog has announced today that two all-new character greeting experiences will arrive be coming soon with Frozen’s lovable Olaf living his dream of hanging out in the summertime as well as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse living out their dreams of being “A-list Hollywood Stars”.
You’ll walk the red carpet and step into a scene with Minnie, where she appears as a Tinsel Town starlet in a ritzy setting straight out of a lush and colorful musical extravaganza. Nearby, you will find Mickey portraying his iconic role of the Sorcerer’s Apprentice from “Fantasia.”
Both meet and greets will be available to guests this spring. Olaf can be found at the all-new Celebrity Spotlight in the Echo Lake district in his first ever Walt Disney World meet and greet. “Mickey and Minnie Starring in Red Carpet Dreams” will open near the Commissary Lane and the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant.

Just a few reminders for when you want to book a trip:

1.     Plan in advance.  Disney has some awesome early bookings you can do but you need to do them in advance.  Dining can reserve 180 days out from booking and fast passes 60 days out.  Let me stay up and do this for you.  I actually stayed up to book some fast passes for my trip later this summer and I went back and looked today and many of the things I fast passed are already gone.  

2.     You can always change your room.  There is a misconception that once you booked you are locked into price and room.   If Disney starts a new special like free dining or room discounts and you have already paid that deposit, as long as there is availability you can change to that room.

3.     I cannot afford to stay at Disney properties.  Actually unless you are going with a huge party and want to stay off site.   Disney hotels have some great rates.  Let me look it for you today.
