New character meet and greets are coming to Hollywood Studios.  It is not new news but Olaf is coming to Hollywood Studios as well as a new meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie.  Join my mailing list to find out some more information as it comes out.

Disney Parks Blog has announced today that two all-new character greeting experiences will arrive be coming soon with Frozen’s lovable Olaf living his dream of hanging out in the summertime as well as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse living out their dreams of being “A-list Hollywood Stars”.
You’ll walk the red carpet and step into a scene with Minnie, where she appears as a Tinsel Town starlet in a ritzy setting straight out of a lush and colorful musical extravaganza. Nearby, you will find Mickey portraying his iconic role of the Sorcerer’s Apprentice from “Fantasia.”
Both meet and greets will be available to guests this spring. Olaf can be found at the all-new Celebrity Spotlight in the Echo Lake district in his first ever Walt Disney World meet and greet. “Mickey and Minnie Starring in Red Carpet Dreams” will open near the Commissary Lane and the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant.

Just a few reminders for when you want to book a trip:

1.     Plan in advance.  Disney has some awesome early bookings you can do but you need to do them in advance.  Dining can reserve 180 days out from booking and fast passes 60 days out.  Let me stay up and do this for you.  I actually stayed up to book some fast passes for my trip later this summer and I went back and looked today and many of the things I fast passed are already gone.  

2.     You can always change your room.  There is a misconception that once you booked you are locked into price and room.   If Disney starts a new special like free dining or room discounts and you have already paid that deposit, as long as there is availability you can change to that room.

3.     I cannot afford to stay at Disney properties.  Actually unless you are going with a huge party and want to stay off site.   Disney hotels have some great rates.  Let me look it for you today.

April 10th will be a big day for the future of FastPass+.  Then, several modifications will be made to this system allowing guests with much more freedom to choose the FastPass+ reservations they want and change their plans on the day with ease.

First, be sure to stay on the lookout for big changes coming, in terms of look and functionality, to the MyDisneyExperience app and system used on FastPass+ kiosks around WDW.  Now, onto the specifics of the modifications we can expect to see in just a few days…

• Guests will have the option to pick 1, 2, or 3 FP+ reservations – you will not automatically be given 3.
• The MyDisneyExperience app (yes, on our phones!) will give you the option to choose additional FP+ reservations (one at a time) after your day’s previously chosen reservations have been used.  These added selections can be made for a different park than where your already used selections were. 
• When you make a reservation, you’ll be able to choose an attraction and the time you’d like at the same time.
• Single reservations will be able to be canceled without canceling all selections for the day.
• Individual guests from a FastPass+ selection will be able to be removed from the reservation.
